Victoria Okojie a qualified librarian whose experience span teaching, practice, consulting and regulation in the library field. She is passionate about supporting the growth of sustainable societies by supporting research and innovations, training and leadership, delivery, impact, advocacy, mentorship and policy in the library and information field.
I was the pioneer Registrar/CEO, Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria; Former National President, Nigerian Library Association; Former Governing Board member, International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA); Former Advisory Committee member, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Global Libraries Program; Former Board member, National Library of Nigeria; Fellow Nigerian Library Association; Fellow, US State Department International Visitor Leadership Program; Fellow UNESCO UIL; Former International Advisory Committee member, UNESCO Memory of the World Programme; Former Area Director, British Council Ibadan, Nigeria, Former Senior Librarian, University of Ibadan and Visiting Lecturer, University of Buea, Cameroon. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer, University of Abuja. Victoria is currently on the Stithting IFLA Global Libraries Foundation Board and Book Aid International, UK International Advisory Board as well as on the editorial board of many professional journals.
