I Joined NOUN in the year 2003 as a lecturer one(course coordinator). From there i moved up to the rank of professor of Measurement and Evaluation. i have served in various capacities such as unit head for early childhood and primary education unit, examination officer from 2003 to 2016. i became the first HOD educational foundations in 2016, and the Dean of the Faculty of Education from 2018 to 2022. i served in different committees and sub- committees, including the local organizing committee of the ACDE conference in Nigeria. i am a member of the university senate and have served in different committees of the senate including examination committee. i presented the 20th inaugural lecture in the series. i wrote and reviewed so many course materials in the faculty of education. I have been a resource person in training of academic staff of NOUN and other universities in examinations and question setting, I participated as a resource person for training of selected lecturers from West African Universities in research in ODL by RETRIDOL.

I have served as external examiner for some universities in Nigeria and outside Nigeria(INDIA, GHANA). I am a visiting professor for University of The Gambia. I have successfully supervised many post graduate and undergraduate students.
