Career Profile

Louis Okon Akpan is a lecturer in the Department of Educational Foundations. He is a prolific writer. He started his academic journey in 1990 where he major in Geography and Education from the University of Calabar. He moved to University of Ibadan where obtained Master Science (M.Sc) degree in Climatology, later did another Master of Education (M.Sc.) degree in Comparative Education. Furthermore, he moved to University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa where obtained Ph.D. in Comparative Education. On Completion, he did another Master degree majoring in Leadership. His area of interests are, Nomadic Education, Education for the disadvantage people, Gender and Sexuality, International Education.
