Career Profile

Dr. Badmus was born on December 12, 1976, to the reputable ALHAJI GBADAMOSI AMUSA AKINLABI family in Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria. He attended Community Primary School, Ayekale, Ibadan, from 1982 to 1988, where he completed his first school leaving certificate. From 1989 to 1995, he attended Urban Day Grammar School Aperin, Ibadan, for a senior secondary school certificate. He then proceeded to attend The Polytechnic, Ibadan, where he obtained NCE (Technical Education) from 1996 to 1998. He had his first degree in the University of Ilorin (B.Ed. in Educational Technology) between 2000 and 2003 where he won the award for being the best graduating student in the then Department of Curriculum Studies and Educational Technology. His master’s degree was obtained at the University of Ibadan (M.Ed. Educational Technology) in 2005 and 2007. Between 2008 and 2013 he completed his third degree and obtained a Ph.D. (Educational Technology) from the University of Ilorin known as ‘Better by Far’. Dr. Badmus had a Diploma Certificate in Computer Application from the Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo. He worked at Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo, for 7 years before joining National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja, in 2017. He is a member of many professional bodies and has written several journals. He is married and blessed with children.
