Career Profile
Dr. Ibrahim Musa started his career journey as a classroom teacher in the year 2008/2009 during his youth services under National Youth Service Corps at Government Secondary School Ayekale, Saki, Oyo State. He then served as a Lecturer in the department of Educational Psychology, Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin, 2012/2013. He joined the service of Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC), Abuja as a Research officer I in 2013 and rose to the rank of Senior Research officer in 2017. in 2017, he joined the service of National Open University of Nigeria as Lecturer I, and was promoted to the rank of senior lecturer in 2020. He his currently the centre director, Kebbi study centre. During his service in NOUN, Ibrahim served as a facilitator, researcher, supervisor, examiner and administrator. He has published more than twenty articles in peer reviewed journals and also published five books on psycho-educational aspect of counselling psychology. He is a member of Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON), Association of Professional Counselling of Nigeria (APROCON), and Open, Distance and e-learning Association of Nigeria (ODeLAN)
