Career Profile
My career journey in teaching started fully in 1999 during my Youth Service at St Paul’s Academy, Jos, Plateau state. After teaching for the service year, I was retained due to my outstanding performance as a Guidance Counsellor/Government Teacher in the School.
I worked with the school till 2009. I also taught as the Enugu State University of Technology, Jos Centre for a few years and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka Continuing Education Centre for Adults, Jos. I am a facilitator with the National Teachers’ Institute in Ondo state.
I joined the National Open University of Nigeria in the year 2010 as a student Counsellor, and later converted to academic cadre.
I am an adjunct faculty member of the Public Service Institute, Ondo State. I have served as the Chairman of the Counselling Association of Nigeria, Ondo State Chapter and a reviewer/Editorial Board member for some peer reviewed journals.
I have published several articles in referred journal both locally and internationally. In a nutshell, I have taught at both secondary school and university and at present the Study Centre Director of Oka-Akoko Community Study Centre, National Open University of Nigeria.
