Dr. Loveth Ogoegbunam EKWUEME is a Reader in the Department of Library and Information Science; Faculty of Education, National Open University of Nigeria and a Coordinator for the SouthEast Incubation Centre under the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and General Studies at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Abuja. Once an acting Head of Department of Library and Information Science in NOUN. She is a chartered Librarian with Librarians Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN) and a member of many professional associations, including Nigerian Library Association (NLA) and Enugu State Chapter of NLA. She has an understanding behaviour and is skillful at carrying out responsibilities. She has good inter-personal communication skills and can strive in an extremely competitive environment. She holds a Doctorate degree and master’s degree in library and information science from University of Nigeria Nsukka. She has a first degree in Library science from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and National Certificate of Education (NCE) in Library Science from Federal College of Education Eha-Amufu in Enugu State. She has worked at Enugu state University of Technology (ESUT) library before joining National Open University Nigeria library in 2008 as Librarian1. Her areas of research include provision of information resources and services, marketing of library services, open and distance learning, digital library, social media and information literacy
