Career Profile

I started and completed my Primary and Secondary School education at Methodist Primary School, Tapa (1976 to 1980/81) and Tapa Community High School (1981/82 to 1986) both in Ibarapa North Local Government, Oyo State, Nigeria. I proceeded to Federal College of Education, Osiele – Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria (1988/89 to 1991) where I studied English Language/Integrated Science. Admitted into the University of Lagos Akoka in 1992/93 as a Direct Entry Student to study Educational Administration (with English Language as option) and graduated with B.A Ed Educational Administration in 1996. I enrolled for my Master’s 1997 and graduated in 1998 in the same University of Lagos. I started my PhD Program in the same University in 1999/2000 and graduated in 2008. During the time of my PhD program, I was employed as a Graduate Assistant. I later got a full time employment with the National Open University of Nigeria on 6th August 2008 and till today. I have published articles in learned local International Journals with Book Publications in my area of specialization. I have also delivered my Inaugural lecture on 19th September, 2024 in National Open University of Nigeria. I have attended several local and international Conferences. I have successfully served as a Study Centre Director of the University (Akure, Ondo State) among the positions of academic and administrative responsibilities that I have held in the University. I have equally served as a Governing Council Chairman of The Ibarapa (now Adesrun Ogundoyin) Polytechnic, Eruwa, Oyo State for two good terms.
